Rehearsal cover

Just a short greeting from Staatstheater Mainz. Due to many Covid-cases in the house they needed acute help for some days of rehearsals of Nabucco, Verdi.
I’ve wanted to sing Fenena for years now. So of course I said that I’ll help out. I took the chance and sat down to learn the part over the weekend. The rehearsals are going well, with an interesting and rather spot on concept by director Marcos Darbyshire
It’s my second time working in Mainz, after Boris Godunow just before the pandemic started. It’s really nice to be back in this nice town and its lovely theatre.
