Miracles do happen

Premiere of Massenet’s Don Quichotte at Staatstheater Darmstadt

I must admit in doubting we would reach this premiere, at all, or at least with the intended cast. But we did! It was pure joy to sing this fun part, in such an intelligent and beautiful production (by Mariame Clément) with an extremely talented and musical conductor (Daniel Cohen) and lovely colleagues all around the stage. AND with 50% of the seats in the house occupied!! (the maximum currently allowed) I’m tired but fulfilled and very thankful!
