Demo- recordings

Once in a while one has to make new “demo recordings” – singers are totally dependent on video material nowadays. When I started out a good quality sound file and a photo was enough. Times change.

It is challenging and a lot of fun to create such recordings. I think we recorded each aria about 5 times and then we had to chose which takes to use, which took almost longer than recording them.

This kind of recordings are interesting too as a documentation of process. If one has the strength to analyze them, preferably in company of a trusted coach, one can learn a lot.
